Blood, Sweat and Theatre

On Wednesday 11th August, Hartshorn Hook Productions are organising a mass blood-giving event, with their cast and crews and other production companies.  This event is to raise awareness about the importance of giving blood, especially in the summer months when regular donors go away and thousands of visitors descend on Edinburgh, putting pressure on the blood banks.  Only 4% of the UK population regularly give blood, yet we all rely on there being sufficient stocks for emergency treatment.  For more information about giving blood, please visit www.scotblood.co.uk.
Please come along on Wednesday if you can make it!  The event will take place at the Blood Donor Centre, 41 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh EH3 9HB.  More details about the event can be found here.
