Violet Shock make a welcome return to The Fringe with their twisted take on the cult classic.
3 reasons to see this show:
- it's in black and white.......live!
- It's full of toe tapping, sing along tunes (especially on the 24th & 25th when we subtitle the show for audience participation)
- it's your duty to be there to stop the world being taken over be flesh eating plants.

Mind Blowing
an overall fantastic show, no matter how much i think about it i still can figure out how the smallest of the Audrey II's is operated, a mind blowing show which it comedically grusome in places with songs that will be in your head all night!

amazing show! very much enjoyed the performance by all the cast members, hard to beleive they are all so young, some very talented actors amongst them. the black and white theme was potentially a good idea however could have been executed in a better way. Mr Mushnick was clearly a talented young actor, but for me the ronnettes stole the show, some extrelmey talented singers and actors especially one young girl with an amazingley powerful soul voice!

after seeing the [erformance on friday night i conclude that this has to be the best "amateur" performance i have ever seen, i am very suprised that the cast are not all professionals and the stage crew did a superb job aperating Audrey 2 at all sizes. a fantastic show and an amazing finish to a day at the fringe.

One of the highlights of my weekend! Just great - exactly what the fringe is all about.
Report thisSadly disappointing
Whilst Seymour was an excellent singer and Audrey did quite well too, the dentist really let the whole show down. I don't know whether he was trying to emulate Steve Martin from the film but whatever the reason for his peculiar portrayal of the dentist, it didn't work and distracted from the rest of the show. I couldn't wait until he was killed. Sadly the performer reappeared as another character later using the same mannerisms. I also didn't like the grey make-up, whilst using monochrome set to offer contrast with Audrey II could have worked, the grey make-up just emphasised how hot the actors were! Overall very poor with the exception of Seymour.

I thought that this production of the little shop of horrors was superb, well executed and emotional! Performed flawlessly by a enthusiastic and very talented group of young adults! A special mention must of course be made for the outstanding individual performance from the four leads, which I am left in no doubt will all have a place in the west-end in the near future! Bravo! Adam Briki (Drs Do Little)

kate pasola is unreal!
An excellent Seymour stands out in an otherwise poor show. Monochrome set design is a great idea: monochrome make-up is worst idea ever!

Anyone familiar with the movie version should expect a few differences from this young cast\'s amateur production. Seymour in particular gives an excellent performance. Not bad overall.
Report thisenjoyable
lead man was good. Audrey played whimsically but Suddenly Seymour proved too much for her soft voice. Dentist was confident ... very funny (beware of overacting that 2nd role! The girls need to be 'together' with their role. Well done in a venue which must have proved difficult to manage. Sing-a-long did not quite work ... words mostly covered up by the cast, the reading sheet difficult to read without glasses.

THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE SHOW WELL WORTH SEEING. Saw this show on the 23rd , and it was a credit to the cast that the audience were drawn into the plot and left singing. Mr mushnick stole the show and the ronnettes were superb . Well done to the whole cast for a truely enjoyable night .

Saw this show on 23rd August - Brilliant. A tried and tested piece performed by a talented group of youngsters. Great talent on show from Mr Mushnik, Seymour, also the Ronettes were superb. Whoever was operating Audrey 2 did a brilliant job also. Ever thought of a career in Dentistry? Think again!!

I thought the show was brilliant! Great cast, especially Seymour, Audrey and Mushnik. The dentist was creepy as, and the voice of the plant was very well done! Both HILARIOUS. As a huge fan of the film, I was a little unsure what to expect, but I was certainly not disappointed! Loved it.

I\'ve been coming to the Fringe for years and love to take a gamble on unknowns. Granted, they\'re doing a well loved, cult classic, but this was the best Fringe gamble I\'ve EVER made. Fast, funny, fresh - simply fantastic. Go see. I am. AGAIN!
Report thisLittle shop, huge talent!!
A truly professional class act from a bunch of young people who gave it everything they had. Thoroughly enjoyable, fun and hilariously gruesome in places. A great way to end a day at the Fringe, loved it!
