Fab!!! :)

I saw this last month and I loved it! The story is full of emotion and you can really empathise with the characters. The songs were really good. I bought the CD and I can't stop listening to it! Actors were amazing too!

We didn't have time to be scared

The children of Friends' Academy presented a moving and powerful piece of theatre. I am sure this play is something which will grow and become an important iconic influence in the future. The child actors were astonishingly mature. They completely understood the gravity of the content and appreciated their role in communicating this to the world. World class!

Wonderful

One of the highlights of my Fringe this year. The enthusiasm and energy of the cast was magnificent, and the story touched my heart. Well done everyoneminvloved, thank you.

Beautiful

This is one truly beautiful musical, a definite must see! Suitable for adults and children alike, 'We didn't have time to be sceard' will take your breath away and leave you very moved. The cast of this musical are truly amazing people!

Authentic, inspiring

Script outstanding with effective interweaving of child/adult characters, believable people, just right for that time. Catchy music sung with focus, commitment and lots of energy. Splendid acting. Directing succeeded in telling the story with very few props skillfully used. Whole ensemble simply great. Should be shown to many more audiences in many different countries.

Increible

We are a couple from Spain and we both think that the show was increible!!! (amazing), we also buy the cd because we like a lot the music. It's a very interesting story and I recommend to all people. Mi novia y yo no sabemos mucho inglés pero no es díficil de entender y no se hace en ningún momento aburrida. La recomiendo!!!!

Superb

Uplifting, inspirational, brilliant. The audience was overcome with emotion at the end of the performance. Saw Private Peaceful, which thoroughly deserves its 5 stars, the same day as this but We Didn't Have Time is even better, a tribute to the outstanding young cast, compelling script and sparkling production.

. I liked it but not enough, sadly. The staging was slick, singing was good, but the music was samey and derivative. The shnw was heartfelt, worthy and wholesome, and the story interesting, but it lacked drama even at the anschluß stage.

Just the Beginning

You've got to see We Didn't Have Time to be Scared. I went expecting to see a school play. I was blown away by the story, the telling of the story though memories that move in and out, and the power of the young actors. This show will undoubtedly make it to Broadway some day. See it now, and you can say, you say it "back when." Congratulations to the creators, the actors, and mostly God bless the sisters.

BRILLIANT!

What amazing talent these kids have!Watched the premier at Friend's and i was completely blown away by their spectacular performance. The cast is small enough to be able to get your mind familiar with who is who. The singing is by far absolutely wonderful, and the story line is well developed. The story is also very moving especially since the children put a lot of effort into making sure the emotions of the characters are getting conveyed. Make sure to watch this at the Fringe festival!!!

ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE PERFORMANCE

I was privlidged to be invited to the Bon Voyage presentation of this truly fantastic show performed by superbly talented young men and women at Friends Academy. From the opening scene to the last the show was outstanding. The maturity and talent of all the young performers was incredible. The story was moving, the singing was beautiful and even many laughs were had. I highly recommend seeing this show.

Amazing!

I was fortunate enough to see this show in New York for it's preview performance. In one word, it was incredible. The acting was superb, the songs moved me deeply. The choreography fit the show well, and the show was inspiring. It made me contemplate my life and my family. If you see this, bring tissues. There was not a dry eye in the preview performance's audience.

This is amazing!!!!

I was lucky enough to see the preview performance in new York. The leads ware amazing and everyone in the cast has a great voice. The plot of the story is touching and give you a chance to see what it was like for people who were tuning from the war.

I was lucky enought to be at their only New York performance last night. The acting was superb, the music inspired and the story incredibly moving. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.

Professional Quality and Moving Performance

If you are at Fringe, don't miss this one. I just saw the New York preview, and I felt I was on Broadway. You will be moved to laugh, to cry, and to ponder what really matters in life. The acting is superb and the music stunning.

Amazing Show

Wow!!! The show that we watched was an outstanding, amazing, and an awesome musical!!!!!!! The people about to see this musical are extremely lucky!
