Coffin Up is a black comedy that tells the story of an unscrupulous Undertaker and his money-making schemes. Mayhem and melancholy collide in this darkly comic tale situated in 'the healthiest village 2011!' However the funeral directors are going through tough times, business is dwindling and the aged aren't aging. After a freak accident the Undertaker finds another way to get money. Will Doug, the undertaker's apprentice, discover what is going on and will he get his dream girl?

I thought the show was bloody amazing and by far the best thing I\'ve seen at the fringe! Slapstick comedy at its best...Jack Read\'s comedy falls are worth the ticket price alone!!!

Just returned home from 5 days at the fringe, saw 16 shows in all, and Coffin Up was outstanding. Will definitely look out for Village Idiots productions in future. Do whatever you need to do to get a ticket, you must see this show.

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! This was a comedy/theatrical masterpiece, well-written, directed and, above all, performed. The three young men played their parts brilliantly, their movements behind masks, portraying the characters to perfection. This is comedy at its best accompanied by apt and entertaining music. Coffin Up has everything you could ever wish for rolled into one little ball. Full of fun and definitely dramatic! Absolutely loved it! A must for all -please go and see it! Can't wait to see The Village Idiots again and again and again and again!

we thoroughly enjoyed this show. As a fan of trestle, i had some idea of what it would be like and i wasn\'t disappointed. Skilful, funny and touching with a touch of impro! Loved it.

brilliant show my daughter aged 10 thought it very funny faces were fantastic with symbolic music would highly recomend it
