A splendid night...

Really enjoyed this show. I went with my wife & our 14 year old and it was a great evening out together. The two artistes were both endearing and deceptive with their slightly shy, nervous presentation which made me fearful for the quality of the performance. However, I needn't have worried because the magic was top notch, with plenty of "how do they do that?" moments. The intimacy of the small venue was also perfect and allowed a really sweet atmosphere throughout the evening. There was a good variety of tricks and mental illusions, with a bit of hypnosis thrown in for good measure. The 'Titanic' trick was the only one which didn't quite work for me. My son thoroughly enjoyed it and he's not one to enthuse about much at the moment (teenager). Great fun and I'd catch them again. I wonder if they really can read minds?

Outstanding!

We have seen several of Richard and Sam's previous shows and each one is better than the last - this was no exception! As audience members we felt very involved at every stage and were close enough to see the magic, yet still had no clue how they were doing it. As well as being very clever mentalists, they are both naturally funny, which helps make the show what it is. We greatly look forward to the next one!

1912: An unexpected brilliant night!

This was a premiere show and caught my attention in the brochure but I didn't really know what to expect. Whatever my expectations were, they were soon exceeded. The magicians Sam Prior and Richard Sanders initially created a tense start to the show by performing in silence but to my surprise what followed was a thoroughly enjoyable show, with illusions that not only made me think BRILLANT but laugh out loud too. Audience participation was key to the performance and it was this interaction coupled with Richard Sanders quick thinking and ad libs that really made me laugh. However the combination of Sam and Richard’s personalities were complimentary and they bounced off each other on stage. Clearly new to performing in front of a crowd, these two need a little fine tuning but are ones to watch out for. I hope they are part of the Brighton Fringe again next year and we see more performances from them. Great show, great night, 5 out of 5.
